Hey Ram!!

From Times! Posted by Hello

Sometime during the early 80’s... In one of those few arguments that escape the pop-up blockers in the middle class lifestyle in south India, A mother was shouting at the top of her voice! “Gandhi was and is the reason for the present irreparable state of the nation”! A 6-year old kid was listening to that and the mother was not even in the vicinity of understanding that the kid was recording those words in the cerebellum! Without comprehension! The mother was indirectly imposing her perceptional derivatives!

The kid was BBrao!!

Right from those days, my thought was never amplified in revering The Mahatma. Even though, I was brought up with his noble stories and all the positivities across! I some how did not accept Gandhiji as The Mahatma, blindly. That’s absolutely ridiculous isn’t it?! It did not take a long time for me to realize that the perception I had on Gandhi was an enforced phenomenon. My mother and her knowledge accumulation was from the supporters of Sardhar Vallabhai Patel, who supposedly would have been the first Prime minister of free India and according to people would have been the best of the best (when compared to the womanizing Pandit). These non-supporters perfectly reasoned their opinions with facts and perceptions that would easily make a neutral believe in what they say! Listing those facts and perceptions would make this a political blog, which am against to! As a matter of fact there was even an interview of Gopal Godse that rediff came up with 7 years ago which could easily be one of those torch bearers for contemporary corroborators of the non-supporters!

As time progressed in the 4th dimension! There were several discussions where I was arguing with zero knowledge potential! Finally, one of those arguments led me to delve deeper into the life of The Mahatma. From that point, I realized it’s nearly impossible to think of completing that exercise. I once read somewhere that ‘the only real mistake is the one from which we learn nothing’, his life exemplifies that. He was never ideal! But he knew what is that he had to do to reach there! I’m not sure but I heard or read somewhere that he was very close to win the man of the century award and which finally went to the relative genius! Certainly, the deserved recipe for the 1930 Times Man of the year award!

Talking about Einstein I recently read somewhere about the few of their correspondences

Respected Mr. Gandhi!

I use the presence of your friend in our home to send you these lines. You have shown through your works, that it is possible to succeed without violence even with those who have not discarded the method of violence. We may hope that your example will spread beyond the borders of your country, and will help to establish an international authority, respected by all, that will take decisions and replace war conflicts.

With sincere admiration,

Yours A. Einstein.

I hope that I will be able to meet you face to face some day.

DEAR FRIEND,

I was delighted to have your beautiful letter sent through Sundaram. It is a great consolation to me that the work I am doing finds favour in your sight. I do indeed wish that we could meet face to face and that too in India at my Ashram.

Yours sincerely,

M. K. GANDHI

----------------------------

We can find 1000’s of different ways to talk about his greatness, which is a perceptional beauty that would be evident only if you believe it. If your facts lead you to a different plane that visualizes the seemingly non-existent other side, try to comprehend it and review it based on knowledge accumulation, instead of recording it sans comprehension, like what I did with my motherly enforcement.

I still don’t know if I can accept him as The Mahatma but I certainly believe that he was one in the making and I cannot say if someone was, is or will ever be closer to that than him!

On the whole, never trust your enforced understandings! Einstein once said that “Anyone who has never made a mistake has never tried anything new”. I did a mistake of committing a misunderstanding! Well, that led me to see the best.

#%!@$ Palani stole my signature! Looks like he even copy-pasted it. Well it my turn now. Here is something Al Einstein said about the Mahatma. "Generations to come, it may be, will scarcely believe that such a one as this, ever in flesh and blood, walked upon this earth."
